It's not "normal" but apparently it's quite common.  I often feel quite feverish but by temperature is low.

My head feels like it's going to blow off, but tests are normal.

I've never been at 193, but frequently get to 130, even when at rest & without feeling any distress (except for concern about why my heart revs for no reason)

I hope you are feeling better!

I just feel out of it right now like I'm not really here like I'm gonna forget everything

do you ever feel like you are watching your life in a movie?  or a dream?

I do...I don't know quite how to explain it.   It's never when I'm alone but mostly when I am out among people.

I tried to explain it to my doctor once & she looked quizzically at me & changed the subject.  I decided not to pursue the conversation, fearing she was thinking I'm crazy.

It's embarrassing  when doctors don't understand and look at us like we're from another planet.

loglegmomma profile image

And maddening, since clearly there's more than one of us!

I know we are not the only 2 on this forum.  I've seen others say this as well.

I've felt like this its scary and hard to explain and you think your going crazy. I think it might be depersonalization or derealization it's a symptom of sev re anxiety and depression

Hi I was going through some of your posts and learned that you recently lost your grandma and your a rape victim. Either one of those things is enough to stress you out but both of them is what your stressed about and it's that kind of stress that makes you anxious and depressed which in turn can cause depersonalization which is a symptom from anxiety I strongly urge you to talk to your therapist about your feelings and be honest no matter how crazy it sounds. I know you don't like taking meds but sometimes when we have a traumatic experience our brain chemicals get all messed up making us feel horribly and we need meds to fix it. If you had an ear infection wouldn't you take antibiotics for it? It's the same thing for depression trust me I've been there when I was your age. Med and therapy helped me and it will help you too. I'm here off and all day if you want comment or questions. Take care

They want me on Prozac but that helps depession not my anxiety but the side effects says will cause anxiety panic attacks and suicidal thoughts

Have you been taking the prozac?  If so maybe ask doctor to give something for anxiety. In the beginning for me I was on anti depressants and anti anxiety and talk thearapy 3 times a week. After a few weeks when the anti depressants started working I was able to stop the anti anxiety meds.

Really, the best way to go....

apayett24 profile image
apayett24 in reply to Agora1

Ya because herbs don't have side effects

apayett, not to scare you, but herbs can give side effects as well,

in their own way. They are still a form of medication. It's hard to

find western medicine doctors who prescribe herbs unless you see

a homeopathic doctor. x

Let me know how you do on it. There are plenty of us that want a different way to remedy anxiety rather than taking powerful drugs.

Good Luck dear~
