Anxiety & stimuli

I find when im doing good driving in traffic, loud talking or music can threaten to bring on an attack. Even excessive talking for example. Today i spent the day with my mom but her talking excessively and the heat from my ac breaking was making me feel weird. Thoughts began to race & i began to physically feel "funny". Now that im alone in silence i feel the threat of that thing going away.

Hi,   you're not alone with that feeling.  Listening to someone talking whether in person or on the phone is enough to put me over the edge with anxiety.  Our brains are on overload as it is that we cannot handle any more stressors whatever it might be.  Peace and quiet, relish it.  Use this time to calm your mind.  Make it go blank.  This is especially good to do before bedtime.   x
