Armpit pains, sore ears and tight throat...

Hello I have recently been told by the gp that I suffer from anxiety especially health and she's referred me for CBT and counselling. I've been having horrible armpit pains and ear ache for months, so I've had a breast scan and nothing, stopped using tight bras and unnatural deodorants, blood tests nothing. I did have an ear infection in December which has cleared up now but even though she has told me there's nothing wrong with me why do I still have ear pain, armpit pain and a tight throat.. Even on a good day when I don't feel anxious.. Should I go back to the doctor? Pretty fed up and very new to this so would love some help X

Sorry you feel this way. I suffer with Health anxiety, it's awful and I'm same even when I'm not feeling anxious I still get symptoms and worry, I think it's because it's always on our minds. The cbt might help you and explain to you more, I've been referred but it's going to be at least a couple of months 😩

Try and do some nice things for yourself, some nice deep breaths and take your mind off things x

Thank you - just such odd symptoms to have and because they are physical pains I can't understand how it's anxiety. Starting using the app headspace to learn how to relax my mind, highly recommend x

Thanks il take a look. Yes I no what you mean, I get all kinds of aches and pains all the time, and I often say this can't be just anxiety! I think about my body everyday, even though I don't mean to it has just become something I have to do, so something that was probably ok before I thought about it, then became a 'what's that ache/pain' it's so strange.

Are you still able to go out and do things? X

Yes still fine to do things I also have quite a busy job so having to power through. But your right it must always be on the mind because when I'm engrossed in a project I completely forget put the aches and pains. Hard to tell what's real pain and what's not though e.g I did have an ear infection in December but I was like 'am I ill or is this just anxiety'.. What are you doing to cope? X

My anxiety is really bad, I don't really go out much, I take older kids to school and then keep busy at home. I have been trying to do more things, like go out but I find it hard x

I also have armpit and ear pain, plus shoulder & temple pain. Doctors all attribute it to my c-spine bulges.

Hello i know this is a old post but this is whats going on with me armpit pain ear aches neck pain shoulder pain i have a herniated disk in my neck & lower back got a appointment next week dont like feeling like im going crazy but did u find relief & are u still experiencing pain

No relief.... new bed helps some. Have you found answers?
