I found exercise really helps, but because of the headspace I get. I do pilates twice a week and I'm really crap at it! But for an hour all I think about is what position my e.g. leg is meant to be in or how far I'm meant to bend and every other worry or stress is literally gone. I think it's the epitome of 'mindfullness'. When I get home I'm ready to start again. Sure the stresses and worries are still there but I'm starting afresh with dealing with them.

If the gym doesn't work, don't give up, try and everything and anything that'll take you out of your head for a little while. Colouring in is another good one for me. I do half an hour before bed and sleep much better xxx

Exercise is a great idea. Anything to distract your thoughts. You can't think of two things at once. I was taught to visualize a peaceful place, when trying to go to sleep. See yourself there. It actually works. Once you start being over senitive to every feeling in your body, it only gets worse. It feels like every nerve ending is firing away at once. You have to distract yourself. I actually sleep with the t.v on. Probably not a good thing. It works though. I set it to shut off in 2 hrs. . Let us know how the exercise works out for you.
