Take deep breaths. In 4 and out 6. Do this over and over again, put your head down, close your eyes and focus on nothing but your breathing. If it's hard to just focus on your breathing, try visualizing yourself in a comforting place. Imagine how the place would smell, sound, look, feel. And when you feel like you can, unclench all of your muscles if they're tight, starting from your toes all the way up to your neck. Remember, you are having a panic attack. It cannot hurt you. You will not faint. You will not die. Every feeling is temporary, and you will feel better soon.

Thank you so much for your reply. I did some deep breathing and feel a little better. I've walked back home, so feel a little calmer. I'm going to try relaxing my muscles now, thank you x

I was going to say, try getting out of the car and walking or pacing for awhile. When you move your muscles you use up some of that adrenaline going wild. Glad you did better. Good thinking...

Its either a panic or anxiety attack and its natural that it would make you feel lousy all the way around... Give it time...you will be ok... Maybe question yourself as to what was being said, where you were going, or what you were thinking...right before this occurred. Good luck to you.
