Advice please

I don't drink alcohol all the time but when I do I only have to have 1 lager and my head starts to feel strange it's like sensation does anyone else experience this

Hi Stacey, I used to drink occasionally when I went out with friends... not a 'steady' thing... and then one fine day, in my mid 40's I started to develop this instant reaction to ANY kind of alcohol: beer, wine, or liquor... I would barely take a swallow and I would have an instant headache! And I mean it hurt! No advil or Tylenol would even touch it. Asked the dr and he told me it is possible to develop instant ALLERGIES to alcohol...So... I simply had to quit... No problem with that except I kinda missed the 'relaxation' I would feel after like one glass of wine, etc... NOW...years later, I can drink wine and take sips of this and that... but honestly just don't like it that much.

Hi Stacey, If you are on any kind of medication, it could affect your head when even taking 1 drink. Everyone is different, I had a mother-in-law who would take her heart medication with a glass of wine, didn't bother her. So who knows?
