Hi. Sorry that you feel so distressed. As with many of the symptoms people have on here, there are numerous possibilities as to the origin of the issues you mention in your post.

The most obvious first step is to discover whether or not there is a physiological reason for how you are feeling. You dont say in your post what, if any, tests you have had, e.g mri scan, blood tests and so on. An MRI scan would immediately rule in or out any problem with your brain as the cause of the dizziness. Blood tests would show any of the major illness like heart problems or things like cancer.

If you have already had those type of tests and nothing was found then the likely cause is anxiety disorder. So the answer to your original question is - yes, anxiety disorder can be responsible for all the symptoms you mentioned. It is extremely unlikely that you have any terminal illness though - the symptoms would be much more obvious and noticeable.

But if you are really worried then perhaps you can talk with your doctor, who will have your medical history. I hope that you feel betetr soon.

I had my ECG, and blood wirks . all came back okay. My gp told me that its anxiety related issues. I'm thinking of meeting a psychiatrist

Did your doctor suggest therapy as a treatment for you? When I say therapy I mean with a specialist therapist - not a psychiatrist.

No

I have been suffering with dizziness for 6 weeks. It with me manifests in the floor moving feeling when I walk and also a motion dizziness when I change position from lying to sitting up. It is horrible.

I am told it's just stress and anxiety.

Hello there, I'm not sure if this post is still being looked at or not. But if it is, I can relate entirely to the dizzy 24/7/off balance/spaced out problem. It's ruining my life and it's almost a very difficult feeling to describe to others unless you've experienced it yourself. But you are certainly not alone! Stay strong, it's all we can do xx

I have been dealing with the same issues for about two months. I feel off balance when I walk, dizzy, weird heavy head feeling, shaky, headaches. It started out of the blue. I'm a teacher and during class I had a extreme attack of dizziness and I thought I was going to pass out. I ended up in the emergency room. For weeks I couldn't get out of bed and I didn't want to go anywhere. During this time I had all tests done from heart, ENT, bloodwork, and MRI. All are normal at this point. It's very frustrating because I deal with the symptoms every day while trying to work. I'm trying to believe that it's all anxiety related. I know that before this happened my dad passed away from terminal cancer. It's difficult to believe that all of these physical symptoms are anxiety related but I have had a lot of stress leading up to this. It's comforting to know that other people experience the same symptoms. I just hope these symptoms truly go away. It's difficult dealing with them and trying to live life normally.
