thee job is too make sure they DONT miss anything.. its simply your mind playing tricks on you.. I have the same exact fear and just "deal" with it because I don't know how to make it go away... Nothing is wrong with you, trust them, they're doctors. When I start checking my pulse and thinking something is about to happen to me.. sometimes I and try and reassure myself your heart is fine stop worrying whatever will happen regardless of if I worry and check or not.

What she has is health anxiety

Hi. One cardiologist might overlook something - at a push even two might. But 9? The result from the echo alone should comfort you. It is clearly anxiety doing its stuff in your head. Psychological illness usually has its roots in some real life incident or trauma. It might be useful for you if you could look back to when the anxiety first appeared to see if you can identify the trigger. Therapy is very good for allowing you to explore possibilities in a safe environment. Other types of therapy can help you change your patterns of thinking and ways of managing your anxiety. Maybe you can talk with your doctor about this if you have not already done so. I wish you well.

Truth be told kdavid I was surrounded by death for a few years.lost my godchild when she was 4 and then my father a couple of years ago.never got to say goodbye to either of them which pains me every day.i also have been out of work for 3 years and took a job in a morgue which completely broke me.

So you have a starting point. Death, in one way or another, has been a big issue in your life. This is the kind of thing that might be explored in a therapeutic setting. You say that you feel the pain every day from the deaths of those close to you. To some extent most people will feel some kind of pain for many years after the death of a close one. But I feel that you are saying something different - something beyond the 'normal' grief process. You never got to say 'goodbye'. Again, most people only get to say goodbye at the funeral as death usually occurs outside the confines of a hospital. Sounds to me that you really need to pursue therapy, where you can explore fully all of these issues which are unresolved for you. Perhaps in resolving them, you will be able to overcome your present anxiety situation.

Hello,

Anxiety will only ruin your life if you let it and only if you listen to the negitivy.

Yes the symptoms are awful and very dibilitating and it can make you feel very alone and isolated. Cbt cab be useful.

I think you've got to bear in mind you've seen 9 heart Drs, and nothing worrying came back, (which is fine if it's stop you from worrying) what others may of missed others would of picked up on.

This is anxiety and like someone mentioned before I think it is worth look at where this fear came from.

Try this: Everytime time a worring thought comes into you head just say firmly to yourself 'stop!' And just tell your self firmly you've been checked out, you've done the best you can and nothing was wrong and bash the thought away imagine hitting it away with a baseball bat. You need to be consistent it's very easy to listen to those negitive thoughts. It needs to be firmly for your brain to take it in just, like the negitive thoughts are. it also helps if you write theses thoughts down and then write next to it why it's untrue. It does help put things into perspective.

The mind/brain is a powerful thing and if it get feed lots of negitivy it will listen to it and believe it. Look u Cbt I think it will help you :)

hello!!! doctors and reports will not lie and try to ruin you even worse, they are sincere, just believe in them what they said, i know its lot harder for you not to think of it, but it is worth trying, involve yourself in more activities, do some meditations, running , exercise and eat well. and if you I am sure god will also help you. , just be calm and accept the situations. You are in my prayers friend.
