Does anyone wake up shaking, dissociated and panicking?

Every morning I wake up shaking, scared and nothing feels real. I also am scared when I get tired at night because I'm afraid of falling asleep. I think I'm going to die in my sleep or something. But it takes me at least an hour in the morning to calm down. Any way I can prevent this?

Hi there, are you on any medication? These feelings you are experiencing - I've had them too, it's awful!

in reply to

Yes, xanax and Brintellix. It is awful /:

Have you recently been put on them? Ive been on sertraline for 3 weeks and don't know if it's helping or not as I know they take a wee while!

in reply to

I've been on the xanax for a while, but the brintellix about 3 weeks too..
