Yes, I go into a panic as well. I try not to though. It matters not what I do in terms of self care, it just won't ease up. I have a Dr's appointment today so I'm hoping she'll prescribe an anti anxiety med. Unfortunately, she's totally against those types of meds so I'm not sure that she'll listen to the living hell my life has become 😳

Ye well I rang my doctor and she rang me back going back four year ago now told her every symptom how I felt and she sent me a prescription out of citalpram with I never took because really she should of said she needs bloods etc. I've got five kids got bloods took with me first two but when my second was six weeks old I had a horrible panic attack on a bus out yhe blue and I cropped it because obviously I was alone with a newborn I had to tell the driver to let me of never been on bus since and I won't. And my last three kids won't get bloods done etc get blood pressure and urine done but even that scared me to death my pulse was always fast because of Mr panicking I did manage to see midwife tho I've been that bad befor I couldn't get out of bed for five days I couldn't move my head was tgat dizzy and my heart kept pounding was so weak didn't even go to toilet was awful x

That sounds terrible! Yesterday I obtained a script for 1mg Lorazapam against my Dr's wishes mainly because she doesn't want to go against what my psychiatrist prescribed which was Lexapro. Thing is, I'm not the only one going through this. So is my family, so I put my foot down & got the script. Lexapro takes a month to kick in. There was NO WAY I could wait a month! I took the med and had almost 6 hours of normalcy. Now I need to explain it all to my psychiatrist, and if he gets upset, so be it. I've felt like a guinea pig all year because I wasn't given what I personally knew I needed.

Please start your meds and practice self care regularly. Consider asking for a low dosage of lorazapam for emergencies. You may need to see your Dr for this, so if you can't go alone, find someone who will go with you. You have nothing to lose and lots to gain since Lorazapam is used for severe anxiety and panic disorder. At least give her a call. Thinking of you xo

Boy, can I relate to you! I was totally fine until end of May when I caught Strep Throat. Never felt the same since. I am constantly dizzy and lightheaded, dont feel good at all, heart racing, anxiety, its crazy! Went to the doctor's last week, which messed me up BIG time! I almost walked out a few times while waiting due to panic attacks. All my blood work and urine sample came back normal. He prescribed me Betahistine. Yesterday I had a great day. Today, horrible. Nothing changed. Still been taking this medication. Nothing new changed in my life in the 24 hrs. Makes no sense. I have only been on this medication now for 3 days, so I am really hoping it will help. I know the anxiety is from feeling dizzy and sick 24/7. How have you been doing? Any better?!
