So the man who I saw today at cbt think I have ocd can anyone help me???

My psychologist told me that when you are having a thought or a compulsion to stop and tell yourself this is OCD it is a mental illness and it is not real apparently you can re program your mind this way.

Yes all the time I also have many compulsions such as doing things in threes etc. my compulsions are as a result of the bad thoughts it's terrible but we have to remember they are only thoughts and to float through them like people without OCD do

Thank you so much I feel so much better already and to think I'm gunna get help now too, it's been really destroying me as a person to, my CBT man told it can be bad events from the pass what course these dark unwanted thoughts, thank you for your help you been a great help thanks 😊
