Thanks for your post. Always suffered from anxiety/stress and i was diagnosed with copd a while ago which makes me more anxious when i am breathless. I have been prescribed with a new inhaler which has helped enormously and i am feeling more positive and not as anxious.

What type of inhaler drug ? Do u every feel heart pains?

I am on spiriva, ventolin and now fostair which has replaced seretide. I also take rampril for blood pressure which is high at mo and has to be monitored. I am feeling fine but anxiety/stress alot.! The weather can affect my breathing but after having copd for so long i think! i am coping ok on the whole. As to heart pains i do experience chest pains when my breathing is bad and tighten up but put that down to anxiety as i can have a panic attack as well. Not ready for the knacker's yard yet!
