I've been having leg pain and am convinced it's dvt..been to doc twice and got a negative ultrasound..but it doesn't feel muscular and Ive had the pain for 2 weeks after sitting for a long time..I'm so scared they've missed something and it's ruining my day

Hi. I had a dvt some years ago after a very long flight stuck in the same position. It took about a week to show itself in terms of swelling leg and so on. Sometimes when we have pain it can affect how we react to things. If you already had a negative ultrasound then you dont have to worry. Ultrasound does not miss a blood clot, and the people looking at the screen are highly educated and experienced people. I do a lot of sitting at my pc and get pain when i stand up. Perhaps you can try to exercise your legs when sitting down, or perhaps elevate them by using a small stool.
