I'm so glad I found this site, I relate to so many posts on here and the answers really help me out. It seems like I have a different symptom every week with no break. I just want to feel normal. I'm only 25! I've been to the Dr's, ER and Cardiologist so many times because of things I feel that make me sure something is wrong. Every diagnosis I get is ANXIETY. I was also told I have some tachycardia after EKGs and holter moniters....everything is normal. I deal with palpitations frequently that are said to be benign as well. For the past couple days I've had this weird feeling in my chest like a sinking feeling. Also have gurgle sensation under my ribs and heart area. Sometimes it feels like my heart is giving out when it sinks or feels "airy" HARD TO EXPLAIN!!. When I'm breathing in it feels like a slight ache in my upper chest kind of like a dry feeling as if I was sick. The feeling makes me cough. And it feels like my throat is really tight, I'm always short of breath where I have to yawn to catch my breath. Every day I'm always focused on what I'm feeling in my body. Health Anxiety is the worse

Feeling weird all the time.
This is exactly me. It's so frustrating and tiring
Yup that all sounds very familiar! Health anxiety makes you focus on one symptom then another and it can go on for a long time. If all your tests came back clear or rather came back anxiety then that's good and you can start working on the anxiety. It took me a long time to believe that physical symptoms could be caused by my head but now I know they can.
Find a therapist with knowledge of anxiety issues and work with them. You can manage it and they're are plenty on here who have been through the same thing.
You have explained those symptoms so well! I describe it as a bubbly feeling and like breathing through a straw with a hole in it. It is so strange & apparently not as life threatening as it feels.
Hi. All the symptoms you describe are common characteristics of an anxiety disorder. That's it. Try not to worry about other disorders that you think you may have. It will only cause you more anxiety.
I agree with worrymagic2013, if you can find a good psychiatrist who has knowledge about anxiety and get hooked up with the proper anxiety medication that is right for you, then that will help you lots and make your symptoms more manageable
