Woken by an attack

Just been woken up by an attack this is the first time this has happened. I feel so ill I am trying to stay calm but can feel it still there. I feel paralysed this is horrible :(

Concentrate on some deep breathing hun. Yoga breath helps...breath in through your nose, hold for 4, breath out through your mouth with a woosh sound (let your tongue lightly touch your top teeth while doing this) & hold between 4 & 7 whatever is comfortable. This will help bring you back to a state of calm & control. Also think about anything nice at all that makes you happy to think about. Takes practice but does help

I was taking a nap in the car 3 days ago when I heard my first panic attack I awoke to my whole body being numb and tingling I couldn't move cause it made me feel worse and there was a huge wieght on my stomach and chest like sweet and magical said breathe and concentrate on 1 thing THIS CAN'T KILL YOU AND NEVER WILL CAUSE ANY BODLELY HARM YOU WILL BE FINE :) and it will pass I know it's the most horrible physical feeling ever but just breathe we are here for you keep us updated xxx
