Derealization and the flu

Does Derealization normally come on when you're sick? Mine is on full blast. Before I was sick my derealization was completely gone. But now it's back for redemption. It's so bad and it's scaring me because I keep thinking I might forget everyone I love. Please help me

Sorry you are not feeling well and I hope you maybe feeling a lot better today and yes things no matter what we suffer are always worse when we are not feeling well and the more we worry the worse they get

It will pass again and I am sure you will not forget your loved one's

I think it will personally and the less you can try and not pay it so much attention will really help . I no this is not easy when something is making us feel so full of fear but that is what feeds the anxiety and creates the derealization ....if you can see it as your anxiety and as unpleasant as it is keep telling yourself these feelings will not harm you and they will pass x
