Getting over a panic attack.

Hey everyone.

I'm just trying to calm down after an episode I had. I did really good today with fighting against my anxiety. But right as I laid down to sleep BOOM ! There it was. But I've taken lorazepam 1mg. I'm just trying to be calm and wait for it to kick in. This episode was so different than my regular ones. It made my head hurt and I got really naseuous and shaky. Does anyone else kinda freak out when you have to take meds ? I just really want to calm down and sleep but I feel so tense still. :(

Hello Jean

Sorry to see you with no reply & I would imagine or I really hope you have now calmed down after your panic attack

Panic attack's can take on so many different forms so I would not worry that your symptoms were slightly different this time I would say that was normal

Anyway just wanted to let you know that someone had read your post as well as hoping you are feeling better :-) x

I also get the panik attacks when I try to go to sleep. I start sweating and sometimes get chest pain.. I try to relax and take deap breaths.. i start by relaxing my toes and slowly working my way up to my head.. it works great.. this helps me sleep alot.. During the day i also drink chamomile tea.. i hope this helps
