So I had my pelvic examined and the doctor said it was probably a cyst but was no concern and that it would go away. I asked her if I needed an ultrasound, and she said she could order it but that it would be overkill and unnecessary. I take it I don't need to be concerned anymore?

Hello

Well as none of us our doctors on here & even if we were we could not examine you but you have seen a doctor that has examined you & has said they are happy enough not to be concerned I would safely say you have no reason to be concerned

Glad you went & it was nothing serious x

Even without the ultrasound?

I remember when I had my cyst on my left ovary that I needed treatment for was very large- however at the time the doctor said people get cysts on their ovaries and they often sort themselves out on their own. If you are anything like me you would rather have your doctor tell you a problem and then get a remedy for it straightaway! However ovary cysts don't make it that easy. My doctor said sometimes people have an extra painful menstrual cycle - but not too over the top painful- but it can be a sign of your body is dealing with a cyst on its own. All the standard things like having a good balanced diet, getting rest & exercise really does help. Hope you feel better soon!❤️❤️❤️
