Started Pregablin but felt very unwell today

I am taking one 25mg Pregablin at night and one in the morning...I have noticed that the morning one is making me feel very unwell just after I take it...Since taking them I am constantly crying during the day because the anxiety is overwhelming..Does anyone have this with Pregablin...

Hi Yes Ive been taking it since Sept time....... I startd on 75mg twice a day which has been increased to 100mg twice a day.......... i havent really had any side affects..... but maybe you could see your gp for reassuarance??

Anxiety does do horrid things to us and sometimes you have to ride it...... I was in a terrible way when I started.... It can take time, bare with it........

Hia I take the "sister" medicine to Pregabalin which is Gabapentin. If I don't eat before I take it I get very unsteady on my feet a bbit like being drunk and my mind gets very "foggy" too but its not so bad if I eat before the meds. Are you taking them before or after food?

Also are you worried about taking medication in the first place? Maybe if you are worried about that then they are reacting with that? Your GP is there to make sure that the meds work for you and that they are properly monitored so try not to worry about that side of things as its already taken care of.

Yes I've been taking 50mg three times a day since last March. It helped a lot. Had side effects to start with but it was worth sticking with. Hope you feel better soon
