Thank u for ur good wishes,yes they r coming out to me,may have a wait though,this would not have been necessary if my practice had given me an app today,theyv got 9docs at my surgery ,it's ridiculous

I'm so relieved to hear the OOH doc is on his way. I think it's disgraceful that you've been left to struggle on like this on your own. Hopefully he'll be able to help you.

Thanks lizard,even a prescription would have helped today ,but no,after all this I'm going to change my practice that's for sure,everyone on here has kept me going all day and been very kind and for thisim very thankfull.will post when doc has been hugs xxx

Everytime I turn on the news someone is bemoaning the misuse of A&E but when you have to wait weeks to get GP apts want other choice do people have?? I'm pleased you'll be changing Practise in the new year.xxx

hi meg, hope doc gets there soon and gives you some relief, what on earth is happening to our NHS, can"t even get an appointment to see a doctor, disgraceful. x

I know love ,it's been on tv about it this week as I said after the new yr I'm changing to another practice,I'm 63not 23,I could have shook this off yrs ago when I did not have health issues like I do now,I'm not happy and have had a nightmare day

Il try,I'm 4miles away fromurgent care centre ,and the a and e is a nightmare,last tie I went I was ther 7hrs

Hi Meg, so sorry you've been so poorly & got no help. Hope you don't have to wait too much longer.

Can I ask, when they said they had no appts did they offer you a telephone consultation? What happens at my docs, if you ring & there's no appts & you say well I can't wait, they get the on-call doc to ring you, have a chat & they then decide if you need to be seen by a doc, a nurse or they can write a prescription to collect. I've found it very useful.

Not much help to you now I know but something to maybe ask about if you're changing practice.

I never realised how good my gps are until I came on here, so many awful stories.

Docs just been ,iv got something for my tummy and my asthma too,very nice doctor too,gave me a good examination,and a prescription for the morning

Sorry forgot to mention thers only 1 doc who does fone consults and he's retiring shortly,but that wasn't mentioned today ,on mon If I'm well enough I'm catching a bus to royton and seeing if they will take me on ,I'm not putting up with this crap, (sorr) anymore,I know a lot have left my surgery,and il be another one come mon,goodnight to u all ,many tnks for today
