How my doctor asses a patient with HA complaining of a physical illness

She told me she pictures a twin with the same symptoms and assess them first, then looks at anxiety issues. Reassures me a bit

I have never asked mine Holly , I might do when I next go

All I find though that has been frustrating over the years ,is I no when mine is health anxiety , but needed reassuring , but at times when I have known its not , I have struggled to get them to listen & not try & send me away saying its anxiety , but as mine has got better , they do seem to take my complaints more seriously

How I stopped going so much was every time I felt I wanted to go , was to ask myself , am I going because I actually feel really ill or am I going for reassurance , if it was the latter , I would see how long I could go before I went & slowly but surly , I have got to a stage where I dont need to keep going & now its just when I actually feel there is need

It will get better

But next time I might ask her if she is assessing my twin first
