Willing it on

I've just read an article in an un-named newspaper that says basically by worrying and stressing about certain health problems can "will it on" and you may actually develop these problems. Before I read this I used to worry about "willing it on" but my CBT lady was good in telling me it was nonsense and I started to believe her. Reading this has just set me back but does anyone else believe that by worrying you might get something you will?

  • Hi Ashley ..yes I do believe that because when you think of symptoms like having a pain in your kidney or somewere else ...that pain gets worse and the more it troubles your mind the worse it gets....xx

  • Hi I read once that worrying is like praying for what you don't want.
