Is anyone going to Glastonbury or has been before?

I've offered a job to work there starting Monday and I'm thinking why the hell did I sign up! It was done in a more positive mood but lately been things tough and not sure what to do.

Understand...

Could you not try it but have a get out clause....an excuse not to stay, I know it's difficult and I do understand, I gave up work due to anxiety and depression and attempted to do something a bit too soon and it didn't work out....but sometimes perhaps if we want to try, a get out clause helps....if you really really can't do it, then I guess a call to say so...

Sorry probably not much help, but it's getting the timing right on just where you are in all this...sometimes it's not good to do it other times its time to have a go, we are all very different in this too I guess..

Wish you well whatever you decide..:)

Thanks for your thoughts, I mainly just wanted to share my problem and put it out there.

Yes, I could just go and see what happens but what scares me the most is lack of control.

I'm alot better than I use to be and lately have taken on alot of challenges. I've just come back from a week driving mostly solo in Europe. I've also just quit my job to go to back into studying, something that I've put off for years.

So by not going I feel I'm might be making a decision based on the fact it hasn't been all bad but at the same I feel I would be letting myself down.

Catch 22!

Hi there,

I'm just letting you know that I have been to glasto a couple of times & it really is a opportunity of a life time & something that will give you such a natural high when you come home & see all that u achieved there.

I'm not goin to lie, as it is a really big place & very overwhelming at first, but the last time I went - my gp gave me some meds called zanex *spelling & they were brilliant for the short time I was there, so you may want to speak with your doc b4 u set off n see what they say.

Also you have a major advantage as you will be there be for everyone else so you will be able to get your barings of the site a little b4 it's full. This should help you feel at ease hopefully.

Good luck & hope to hear about the fantastic time you had when you return home. X
