Chanting not ranting

Very simple blog from me today. I am really enjoying learning to chant with the 21 day mantra meditation journey. I am trying not to complain, and it is helping my mood :) x

Sending you all loving vibes x

Hi Tara,

I used to go to meditation classes at my neighbours house. Everyone would sit in a circle and compose themselves. The minute she would say the first ommm, I would crack up laughing, I couldn't help it and I'd have tears streaming down my face by the end of it. She was so patient with me but I had to sit that bit out in the end, I'd have to go in the garden so I couldn't hear it lol. I've got CDs which I've tried listening to but the same thing happens, I just start giggling. Think I must be crazy lol. Xxxx

Hi Cookie,

My friend and I used to go to yoga classes with the old ladies, loved doing the exercises, but when it came to the OOOUUUMM, we used to do the same as you, we would be in tears. A great way of getting rid of the pent up anxiety.

Occassionally the old girls used to fart as well, and us being in our late teens found that really funny, oh the tears.

I miss those classes as I haven't laughed so much since.

Lol, yeah the farting ROFL. She never warned me about that, I'd laugh so much it would hurt. I was only 19 at the time lol, but felt like a child. Xxx

Yes, there's something good about laughing when your not supposed too.

When me and the same friend were signing up for the Territorial Army, we were in front of the Major, with the picture of the queen saying, that we would protect queen and country etc.

My friend flubbered saying the words and we both rolled up, couldn't stop, god, just thinking of it now, makes tears come to my eyes. The Major shouted saying " this is deadly serious " which went down well :-) we were doubled up laughing.

Needless to say we were escorted out of the office, and had to do it later, once we had calmed down.

Nothing like a good laugh with a close friend..

ROFL god, can you imagine the three of us. I still do it now, me and my daughter will have giggling fits, my OH tells us to get out the room lol, my dad used to go mad at me. Asking if I was right in the head. Obviously not eh lol :-)

I think its quite normal, its all the others that have a screw loose :-) nothing like a good laugh to cheer us up.

I think its what keeps us sane :-)

They say laughter is the best medicine Cookie, and maybe after a while it won't seem so funny. I do smile when I chant, I have also done laughter yoga, now that is fun :) x

I felt so bad though, they were all so serious. It was the sound, the lady had a high pitch when she spoke but when she chanted, it was really low. She taught yoga too which I enjoyed and managed to behave lol. Never tried laughter yoga, it does sound fun xxx

I find it hard to chant, although I sometimes do some six healing sounds, there does seem to be a vibration in the OM that is very nice, I must try again.

thanks Tara :-)

Have a peacefull day
