Welcome to the community. Sorry you are suffering so badly. You’re not alone.

Are you receiving treatment from a medical professional? Without my psychiatrist, therapy, meds, support group, exercise, prayer and meditation, I would be a mess. Curled up in a ball on the floor.

Same here. I try to hide it from my kids but they know mommy is really really sad sometimes. I feel like a burden to them and my husband, too. You aren’t a burden in our community, though!

It will get better. It always does. But I know it still feels bad right now. Hang in there and try to let time pass.

Panic attacks are daunting. Anxiety is unfair. You WILL get through it. You will feel better. It's just hard to weather the storm. But it's clear, you are making strides. You will be ok. You have already made progress reaching out and not hiding from it!

It will pass I can tell you from 45 years experience. Has something happened to trigger it? Are you physically ill? Do you take medication and if so has it been changed? These all are contributing factors to anxiety.

hang in there Pablo. It’s not the business that’s for sure but you’re so not alone and this too shall pass. Sometimes when ur sitting in the mud you can’t think of nothing but that mud. I was having random panic and anxiety last night and even with all the tools the fear was taking over so the anxiety lingered. Take deep breaths and try to get outside, take a walk or change something (like if ur sitting and get anxious get up and move or stretch or grab a book to read etc) anything to re direct. Prayers up.

Hi, I have been there also. It's devastating and exhausting but it does get better. Talking to others and trying to stay busy is key. Hope that you have a good therapist and family for support. Keep us posted. God bless.

I’ve been feeling the same way since Jan. 2023 my heart rate was 256 while I was at the hospital. They ran tests and after 3 days sent me home. I”ve to different cardiologists, they can’t find anything wrong with my heart. It’s been steady panicking and anxiety. It’s getting better now, just hang in there! Try to stay busy and find a hobby. We’ll get through this.

I have been there. I have learned that "this too shall pass". I read some other posters' quote from Nick Ortner's site "How you feel right now will not be how you feel forever. This is just a small moment in a much bigger story." Please try to take this to heart.

I wish I could tell you that. I just want to my doctor's office yesterday and got my medicine changed again. It's been over 20 years dealing with panic and depression. It helps me just to have someone to talk to. Do you have someone? I know it's not easy to find someone. I just went through a divorce and I'm trying not to become codependent on my kids when they come to visit.

Hi PMB, sorry you're going through a rough time. I've just learned about anxiety and panic attacks myself. i've been using an emotion wheel to journal so i can identify the trigger and the emotions that go along with it. it's not easy but it helps. hope it can help you too. there's always some kind of underlying cause and the physical part of it is so overwhelming but once you can put into words about how you feel, it eases the physical reaction. When you can describe the situation, it reduces the fear and panic of the unknown.

have a great weekend and don't give up on living life well.

I am sorry you are going through that. I know it is hard. Never give up. I have been having anxiety and panic attacks for about 6 years now. Mine was brought on as a side effect of a medication. Unfortunately it is a permanent thing now. You can try a few things naturally that might help. You can try essential oils like lavender. You can also look on YouTube for meditation music. Those things help sometimes. Camomile tea is also a good relaxation drink. If you consume caffeine cut it back. Caffeine is really bad for anxiety. I hope this helps some. Take care and keep you head up.

Have been almost there but as other member stated with the exercise, meditation, bible and other coping mechanisms and medication on an as needed basis coping . Remember from an app I use the idea of impermanence where everything good or bad is temporary until the next time . Works for me .Keep the faith post on here u are not alone .also newer one to me get outside in nature for a while lowers the anxiety level
