My sincerest condolences Starrlight. Your post was brief, but it gave pertinent information. You called your mom “amazing”. Sounds like a good woman who put herself into raising a good daughter. I’m sure she’ll be watching over you, and you’re fortunate for having had her💕. May she rest in peace.
She used to call her children amazing, if we are amazing it is due to her I feel. ❤️

Sorry for your lost, may she rest in peace, I lost my mom 10 years ago, same way, with her hand in mine praying.
Being able to pass away with the company of our loved ones is a blessing, not everyone has that oportunity.
Remember you are not alone in the process, she will always be there in spirit, in your fellings, in the air, in the warm light of the sun, in everything that's beautifull, and you notice, will be her, smilling to you.

How blessed, you are surely feeling at this time, to have the privilege of holding your dear mom's hand as she passed away yesterday. It has been 44 years now since my mum passed in similar circumstances, I too, was privileged to have been holding her hand and praying at the same time. I am happy for you that you see this as a positive rather than negative time.
My prayer for you and your family: 'Heavenly Father, we bless and thank you for Starrlight, for her faith and trust in you, and for the wonderful privilege of being in prayer and holding the hand of her amazing mom, as she passed from life to death to eternal life. We thank you also Lord, for the life and times of Starrlight's mom, for her witness and trust in you, and in the hope of your promise of eternal life. We ask now, that you raise Starrlight's mom into that new life, give her rest and release from all things earthly and bring her safely to a place of heavenly grace through the love of your Son.

I am SO sorry to hear that. I lost my mom five years ago and I can feel your pain. I still think of her a lot. I try to take comfort in the wonderful memories I have of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My husband lost his Dad when he was 15 years old. He says that you never get over it, but that you learn to live with it. This takes time. I wish you support from your family and friends.

I lived my mother passing during my divorce... heavy and difficult period... still struggling with all... don't keep anything inside... cry, scream, do whatever you need to in order to start the healing process... be with friends, family, etc... sending hugs, be well and safe ❤️

It cannot really be seen as my loss, as he is not a blood relative and I haven't seen him for many years. My aunt died unexpectedly and he remarried soon after, inheriting a daughter. Perhaps that was what he wanted all along. But he had dementia and was 99 - passed peacefully, I understand. I have yet to send commiserations because I am in Wales for a week - hopefully, a bit of respite and letting people know that I am still alive, having failed Christmas entirely this year. I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Sending prayers. My mom passed last April on her favorite holiday, Easter. I couldn't attend the funeral due to my Agoraphobia. I am still dealing with that. So I know it can be hard.

I always felt privileged to sit with a patient who was passing on. Unfortunately, I was never able to do that with any of my family, as I was always elsewhere and didn't find out until afterwards.
So many of my fellow nurses felt superstitious about this, but I was always ready to volunteer. I'm glad you were with your Mum when she passed, and I'm sure she knew you were with her.
I have lit a candle in my window for her.

You'll be surprised by the strange times those memories pop up. My mom loved certain songs and every now and then my truck radio, formerly her truck, will play them. I remember her cranking up the sound to the Pointer Sisters Neutron Dance and banging out the drum beat on the steering wheel. 🥰🥁

Lost my mom almost 10 years ago now, my eyes still well up and I sometimes still call out to her when needed. I believe that, that she is still around. Thank you ❤️ Hug backatchya… I had a dream that I was lost and kept coming to the same spots but not getting out of the place i was lost in it was consuming me and I couldn’t thinkcalmly rationally I just was in panic and I kept asking people for help.

the dream is because you feel lost and alone and like you cant find where you want to be, as your minds in turmoil with grief, grief is a process and you will go through all sorts of emotions, its such a blessing you was with with your mum or youd be wishing you had been, its good that your emotions are coming out in dreams when you wake in panic and even tears deep breath and pray to your mum, i found the mornings in grief id wake up crying, you will get through this and peace will come, the mind has a way of coping 🤗💛🌟

yes you shouldnt be alone too much right now the intense grief will come in bursts suddenly after leriods of calmer and youll feel the need for someone wuth you, i found this photo of the new year my step dad died he died that xmas some 17 years ago now me and my mam had a few drinks and lit a candle for him.and my grandparents this spirit aurb showed up on my shoulder there was lots on video at mams first great grand childs christening at the church, and after my step dafs funeral where mam choose somewhere over the rainbow by eva cassidy to play, on the way back the biggest rainbow filled the sky down our street i have so much proof of spirit i hope the photo is a comfort to you and i hope you sleep with the teddy your mum held 💛🌟

keep warm and honey and lemon helps if you have a cough, have some hot milky chocolate drink to help comfort you and sleep the more sleeps you have the closer you are to heeling your covid and grief its that word time, the great heeler, sending a big hug to you 🤗💛
