Thank you so much! I'm friends with my coworkers but still getting to know everyone. I just keep reminding myself I haven't been here for long!

Yes. Takes time. Eventually you will click with someone. Maybe join a local class. Yoga or something to find people with similar interests. Also your neighbors.

Could you go to the local library see if they have a notice board. You might find some groups to join.Or do you have a support worker you could talk to.

I go on the city of York website and look on their. Found a few walking group's but haven't plugged up the courage to join any yet.

It takes time, but it's hard. I'm in a new area too - moved here last October. It does seem to be getting better, but the first months were rough. Anyway, just wanted you to know that I get it!
