Yes, i love order but no i dont like to do it because soon as its done i can look back on the same clean counter and my plate will stick to what i just cleaned(thank you husband)....my solution is, i have one corner that noone else invades...when its a bad day i can see that one go...yip did good! more to life and it doesnt stop. Definition of cleaning? Recently my daughter who is a sweety saw me clean a dresser drawer on the bed..mom remember...if something happens i dont want your garbage...that pretty much said it for me and i sang..Let It Go! clean enough not to have critters.....how do you eat a 🦕...one bite at a time....

hell no... I get sucked up in details and forget about the big picture. My ears are sensitive clangy, jarring sounds so putting away dishes makes me cringe. It is a luxury but worth it to have someone come in every other week. Last year I spent a month in another country where my possessions fit in a suitcase and backpack. For a short time it was so nice not to have all that stuff to clean.

Me too👍 It’s so satisfying . If Im feeling down I give my oven a good clean and I always feel better afterward, and it’s a form of exercise .

I hate to clean. It’s repetitive and boring. I’d rather be out climbing trees and I’d pay someone in an instant to do it if I could. It’s like Sysiphus (?) and his boulder. But it’s a necessity and it feels so good when it’s over. Free at last!

I like the order it brings. I hate clutter! I dont bring the junk mail into the house. I deposit it immediately into the recycle bin before I enter the house! The days of severe depression I cant get anything done. I double up on the housework on my better days.🙂

I am doing so much better today than yesterday. 🙂 I was very depressed but just for the day. Unfortunately I watched a program on YouTube about narcissistic mothers and it brought up alot of anger. She passed in 2013. I thought I forgave her for all of the abuse ( control, manipulation and verbal abuse). However I never really released the anger . I suppressed it. 😟

A friend said he released his anger years ago by yelling underwater in his family pool. ( He didn't want his family to hear him). I'd be afraid of swallowing too much water!😳

I'm 74 and disabled.

I have decided that the house is My sanctuary, and I will have it as I want it and to blazes with what anyone else thinks!

Certain things I will keep pristine. other things can get cluttered.

Those who come to see me will understand, and those who come to see the house, can go away unfulfilled!

Yes I do infact I would say I enjoy doing it. I hate my room dusty and the bathroom has to be as nice as I can get it. So it is one thing I my life I can say I really don't mind it.

During ramadan i clean the dishes i love doing it but sometimes my hands get irritated . My mom in the other hand dreads it she now has Carpal tunnel syndrome on her left thumb so doing house work is painful for her 😬😕
