In a low

I’m not in the best place.

I don’t want to rant or vent about the reasons why. I just… I don’t really have an interest in living anymore. I’m struggling. I don’t want to give up, but it would be so much easier that way. I’m fighting for myself by myself and suddenly I’m tired of wanting better. Of trying to break away and move on. I feel like I will never be free. I feel like this will last forever.

Hi. It won't last forever. It sure feels like it when in a funk though, doesn't it? What have you done before to get yourself out of a funk? You'll have good days and bad. Ride the wave and don't fight it. Fighting will just make the funk "louder". Have you felt this way before? If so, remind yourself that you've been through this before and have come out the other side.🙂

I hear you. When I get like that and I'm tired of fighting it, I distract any way I can. For me it's curling up on the couch with a comfy blanket, big glass of water by my side (got to stay hydrated) and watch my go-to, feel good tv. Things I know will keep my mind off of how hopeless I feel in the moment. I let everything go. So what if I'm in my pj's at 2 in the afternoon? Who cares what anyone else is doing? I'm taking care of ME and I may even have ice cream for dinner! Sending hugs.

Good morning Bookishbunny,I am so sorry that you are feeling tired of living. I hope that today you are feeling better. Life sure is full of difficult and tough circumstances. It really can wear a person down. It is hard to find peace in this confusing and fast-paced life, today.

We can find peace in these troubled times called life;

The Bible says...

"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." -Romans 5:1

" For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

" I have come that they may have life, and that they may it more abundantly." - John 10:10

The reason why we don't have this peace is because of the sin we have in our lives. The separation that we have between God and man. We have to make a choice whether to follow God or are we going to disobey and willfully go our own way, this will keep us separated from God.

The Bible says...

" For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

" For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23

Jesus Christ is our Mediator, He died on the cross for us so that we can come to Him and find peace in these stressful times of life.

The Bible says...

" For there is one God and one mediator between God and man Christ Jesus." - 1 Timothy 2:5

" For Christ died for our sins once and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." - 1 Peter 3:18

" But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

The Bible says...

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens up the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." - Revelations 3:20

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become the children of God." - John 1:12

" That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9

Here is how you can receive Jesus Christ right now:

1) Admit that you are a sinner

2) Be willing to turn away from your sins ( repent).

3) Believe that Jesus Christ died for you and rose from the grave.

4) Through prayer invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Recieve Him as Lord and Savior).

Here is a prayer that you can pray to accept Jesus into your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, and I ask you for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

In Jesus' Name, Amen
