I take Adderall, and have for about two years now (for ADHD). It is very helpful in allowing me to focus on things, but I find that after I take my dosage (15mg morning, and again in afternoon) that my anxiety seems to peak and I get very depressed. I assume it is because of the "energy" it gives me. Has anyone else experienced this? Any way of mitigating this effect?

It has been a while since I took it but I don't think you should feel a "buzz" or "peak". It should be subtle energy and focus. If you do you are taking too much. My dose was 5mg. At one point 10mg. Eventually it was prescribed as needed. On some days it did make me anxious and cranky and my problem was adhd and depression. 15 2x would have been much too much.
it gives you more mental energy/ focus, it's up to you how you use that extra mental energy/focus. Make a list of things you want to focus on or must get done and get as much of it done before the year is out.
