I have seen quite a few survival programmes but never done any of these. I expect it is a lot more difficult than it looks.

Frankly, I wouldn't want to survive a post apocalyptic world at my age... I have a good life now, and would rather just sit down to a hot cup of herbal tea with my partner and hold hands while the big flash vaporized everything in an instant. I've watched too many dystopian movies like 'The Day After' and 'Testament' to want to deal with more hardship in my life.

"Years"... the end of the world may help cure some of my mental health issues, I'd be forced into situations and like exposure therapy I would need to sink or swim.

I’m sorry but I would not go out my way to survive the end of the world and the suffering. If a nuclear bomb hit is I would just go towards it. I don’t want to be running away from zombies

Or maybe just some disaster or catastrophe, like a nuclear war or a real epidemic like the Black Death of the mid-1300's or the Year Without A Summer (1816 -- check it out, caused by monster volcanic eruption!), famine, etc.

If it's a nuclear strike, I don't live far from downtown or the airbase....so all I'll see is a white light and it's all over for me and mine.

But for whatever reason my city is avoided. I have some skills. I can fish and a bit handy. But I wouldn't last too long cause I have asthma. So eventually I'll get sick and my lungs 🫁 would quit. My fiancé will be left alone. I'll try to make sure to get him to his friends from work. Kind of like The Road.
