Why is with health anxiety you ok then you think something wrong you know it’s not the doctor had said then your minding is now thinking something else focusing on this

I also have health anxiety. I think the brain gets so hyper focused on protecting us that it looks for things. It is very easy to become distracted with the sensations and pains. I know if I let myself, its all I think about. Constant thoughts of "what if they missed something", "what if this is an emergency". I started just pushing forward and living my life. I have found cold showers or other types of cold therapy, purposeful movement, mediation and not googling symptoms to be really helpful.

I was so tempted to google but I want hearing what you said helps I was doing so well it’s horrible how it’s happened again. It’s like I hear a story of what someone has then I am like I have this or I remember what someone has. I think being a mum and s a fear as I don’t want to be sick for my child this is my worry.
