Is it me or do we all hallucinate that we’re gonna have a heart attack whenever we get a panic attack?

Im literally exhausted and I don’t know what to do. I feel like my brain is going to explode. I just want these ideas to go away. I keep thinking about stuff and googling and its driving me crazy. I was never like that and i never was afraid of death but I can’t help but hallucinate ! WHAT SHOULD I DO 😭? Tell me are they really hallucinations and that no harm will do me ?

It's not an hallucination. It's how it feels, literally. This is why went I went to ER with my symotoms when i was first diagnosed, the first thing they did was check my heart. The trick is to focus on your breathing in those moments - slow, deep breathes in through the mose and out through the mouth. It helps a lot

I’ve gone to the ER twice in the past 18 years with heart attack ( pain, tightness, shortness of breath)…. You are not alone- it’s very common with panic. Read Claire Weeke’s book- Hope and Help for your Nerves- she explains these symptoms wonderfully.

What I meant to say was heart attack type symptoms- but it was a panic attack
