Why am i so sensetive? Overstimulated and overwhelmed by everything? Overthinking everything? It's freaking me out.

What if they missed my diagnozis or something? Probably the trauma made my nervious system unable to regulate itself.

You are not alone. I'm also very sensitive and can relate to your problem. And don't even ask about the overthinking. My brain is always creating long unnecessary situations in my head.

You're a blessing relating and understanding so much. Also it's a torture to us but makes us so Empathetic

Have U ever been diagnosed with ADHD ? I have ADHD and at times display some of the characteristics that U talk about. We call it Hypersensitivity.

I haven't and i'm really worried i might have it. But going to doctor's is stressful enough and also here they don't diagnoze adults with adhd. I'm really scared i might have it😭

The thing is that here they aren't availvable, espessially for adults. And it's really hard for me, espessially If i have adhd, to make these appointments and to get it checked 😭

A therapist told me a few years ago that I had a personality trait called a "Highly Sensitive Person" or HSP. A psychologist called Elaine Aron wrote a book about it & my therapist suggested I read it which I did. It basically involves an increased or deeper central nervous system sensitivity to physical, emotional or social stimuli. I've always been a very sensitive person & still cry very easily at 68 years of age & am extremely bothered by sadness. On the plus side, I have great empathy & compassion for others/animals. Read about it online & you might get a better understanding of why you feel the way you do all the time. It's not something you can change though, it's who you are.
