Hello All - was hoping to find a zoom therapy group to join that focuses on anxiety/depression. Not quite sure where to start searching, so I figured here was a good place. Thanks!

Looking for Zoom Therapy Groups
That’s a good question. I found some good online support groups through NAMI, but the ones in my area are mixed diagnoses of all kinds, which is both good and sometimes confusing. Online therapy groups near me seem to be run by clinics or therapists for money (sometimes too much money IMO for a group setting).
Here’s the link in case it’s helpful:
I've been going to support groups sponsored by the DBSA Allliance: supportgroupscentral.com/gr...
I have found them to be helpful.
Cool, I see that they support people with bipolar disorder, not only people with depression. And they have support groups specialized for different subgroups such as people of color, young adults, seniors, military veterans - and for family/friends of someone with depression/bipolar.
Posting for others: "The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is the leading peer-directed national organization focusing on depression and bipolar disorder. ... DBSA online support groups provide people living with depression and bipolar disorder a place to share experiences, discuss coping skills, and offer hope to one another. "
If you live in the States you might look into your local County's Social Services on-line resources. Our County and i'm sure a lot of others, have increased their mental health services because of the effects of covid. They are either free or very low cost.
