I'm having some really bad mental trouble right now and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Since I'm back from college after graduating in film and television, and can't have my cat at my parents house -- I had to get a sitter for the summer while I save up to move out to New York. She's charging me way too much and it's making it very hard. I'm also super anxious and depressed about my senior films film festival run. I'm waiting to hear back from another cat sitter but I feel like I'm running in place and I'm in a very deep pit of despair. I want things to get better but I feel terrible and don't want to have to give my cat up.

Except to take a bow for having graduated (congratulations!) put the worry about your senior films aside. Focus on your cat right now. We have a business called “Critter Sitters” around here that takes care of pets at your home. They are legitimate and their people are trained. There may be something similar near you. They are not cheap but may be more willing to negotiate a price you can afford than some individual you don’t know. Better yet….Ask your vet!!!!!! She/he can set you up with a reliable person who you can afford. That’s your best bet! (From a fellow cat lover)
