It's when you feel weakest that you should stay the strongest.

Hello guys. Today evening, I took one of the paths that I often choose when I am feeling low - comfort eating. I knew I shouldn't be doing it but I just couldn't stop myself. After this I felt really sleepy and I didn't feel like I had the energy to do my evening work out. I delayed it for a few minutes after which I dragged myself to do the work out. As I progressed with the work out, I felt more and more energised and I forgot how difficult it was for me to begin with in the first place. This brought back a memory of a talk that I had seen by a psychologist who said that for depressed people, it's the beginning of exercise that's the most difficult and he encouraged the audience members to help someone they know who suffer from depression in overcoming this barrier. Dear friends, when you feel like you can't accomplish something please understand that this is just a temporary obstacle. All you need is a little push. It could be some music, audiobook or being outdoors and you will be surprised by how much you can achieve. This way we will show depression whose the boss. Go team!

Depression is one of the illnesses that you don't have motivation to do anything so you have to do it first to find it. The pushing yourself is the hard bit so well done.

So happy 😀 that U R able to do this. Unfortunately, I’m feeling a little bluesy anxiety and due to my ADHD, my house is a mess ion. HOWEVER I hired a housekeeper to come to my house on Friday for 3 hoursand tho I’m on MEDI CAL and it’s hard to get an appt, I called the wellness center and thru persistence being polite but explaining about my ADHD, was able to get an appt

Thank U 4 the support. I also cleaned my apartment today for 3 hours which is a big step 4 me. I’m going to hire a housekeeper fo help me further clean my apartment

I’m an avid weightlifter-bodybuilder, and I have the same issues also. I find sometimes that I just don’t really want to get into it. I train at home, so I can train pretty much when I want. I normally train in the mornings but that’s when my depression is pretty elevated. It sucks but I deal with it. Sometimes I put in a motivational video to get me going, EG Rocky 2 training montage. Little by little it definitely lifts my spirits up and I’m able to get it done. Good luck to you. SAMSON
