Feeling low due to being unwell with pains

Hi, i would just like to talk and get things off my chest. Feeling low more than ever at the minute as i have been ill since January with chest pain, random pain everywhere, numbness in arms, hands and feet, heart palpitations, really bad anxiety, stomach aches, dizziness and feeling sick and loads of other symptoms. Its caused my ocd and voices to come back badly because i don’t know whats wrong with me despite going to the doctors constantly. Everything hurts and I’m feeling so low. Currently on Duloxetine for anxiety.

That's rough. My mother went through something similar. She had health issues for years, and she went to doctors, and they couldn't figure it out. Eventually, with enough experimentation, my mother was able to find things to help herself feel better.

Sometimes, things get better, sometimes, they stay with you. Sometimes, things come and go. I'm not a doctor, so I don't have anything I can recommend for you. But I hope things end up getting better for you. Thanks for sharing

Please hang in there. There is so much stress circulating right now but this will pass. Take it one moment at a time.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing. That is a tough situation you are in since not feeling well physically often makes us feel worse mentally. Sounds like you are feeling very discouraged. I encourage you to keep sharing as a way of not feeling so alone with what you are going through.

I'm afraid it led to me developing Serotonin Syndrome, as I was taking a high dose of Duloxetine together with Pregabalin for Anxiety (N.B.: Both were prescribed by my Consultant Psychiatrist.). I can't properly advise you on its effectiveness but do be wary of combining two or more serotonin-based products as they could lead to developing the Syndrome. Also, as I had to stop Duloxetine immediately and withdraw from 150mg per day to zero "cold turkey", this was a horrible experience for me. I am now taking Vortieoxetine, which doesn't interfere with Pregablin as it works on Noradrenaline, not Serotonin.
