am i the only one that sometimes feels off? it's like a really small part of my world has shifted, and i can feel it, but i don't know what it is. i can't even think of what it is, either. there's just something that's making me feel off inside.
i should be fine and stuff, nothing bad has happened. i've done my work today, i'm working to hand in stuff for school, so why am i feeling off?
i'm honestly just confused

Sometimes this happens. It's anxiety. I feel this way sometimes too. We are so used to doing something or needing something to be done that we start to panic when it's quiet. Try some grounding techniques there are a lot out there so find some that work for you. One you can try is to just be present in your surroundings. Find things that are familiar to you. Think about them and remind yourself you are in a safe space. You can look for things in your area like what are the first 5 green things you see? But really try to use your senses to get back to the present moment. This happens to all of us at times so you are not losing it or anything. Take some time for your self and just take care of you. Even if that means just sipping a hot cup of tea and listening to music or going outside to enjoy the sun. As long as its for you it will help as well.
thank you, that makes sense. i'll try to keep that in mind whenever i feel that again. i often try to just turn the tv on or find the right video to watch, but that rarely does anything. it kind of feels like i'm out of myself or something like that. point is, it's usually odd and idk what to do. either way, the feeling went away just a little bit after journaling.
What you just described is called derealization and it's a normal thing that happens. You also used a great coping skill in journaling so I would like to say good job. It's never easy dealing with that feelings but you seem like you have a few coping skills, the journaling being a excellent one. Use that and some of the other grounding techniques I mentioned and it will help. You did really well though so you should be proud of yourself.
