I was diagnosed with panic disorder in june 2019, it's been rough. It gets worst at times but going to school always made me feel better, but now with covid i can't go out of my house, and that's making it worse. Also i have otitis wich makes me dizzi and with an annoying ringing in my ears if anyone has had that let me know hahaha so yeah i can't really think of ways to make myself better

How do you cope with really bad anxiety?
I'm really suffering at the moment too Xmmznz. I'm taking each hour at a time. I took a bath and listened to podcast from a Buddhist monk talking about how he overcame his panic attacks. I started meditation about 2 years ago but still have a long way to go before I sit with panic and anxiety but when I'm a little more settled I can just feel the feelings. Not being able bro connect with others and all the collective fear around covid makes it worse I think for anxious people like us to cope. I found talking to others here or my friends and family esses it for a while but I know that panicing about panic doesn't help! Anything helped before?
I am really sorry that you are in a bad place aswell and what has helped for me is to lay down press gently my forhead and listen to music or a show and concentrate in things i can hear. I haven't had full blown panic attacks recently it's just a constant feeling of anxiety and yeah covid makes it definitley worse
I know it really feels awful and such a challenge. I'm really trying to accept they are just feelings, I'm waiting for a medical investigation, I'm worried the diagnosis will be life-threatening or it might be less serious and treatable? Trying to live with the uncertainty 😔💜
I get that, i had blood test done a year ago and i was sure it was going to be something really bad and had awful panic attacks, but turns out nothing was wrong, it's just your mind trying to convice you of something that's not real:), you'll be fine i am here to talk always
It will be 2 more weeks before I get the investigation, I have convinced myself it's life threatening and have suffered several panic attacks today. I was really ill 2 years ago which has left me with a reduced immune system and health anxiety..it's exhausting isn't it 😟
What symptoms do you have that make you wanna get a medical investigation?
Ive had otitis twice in the last month. Prescribed $80 drops. But I'd found on health line on the internet I could use rubbing alcohol mixed with apple cider vinegar. I actually think that works better.
Did your ears rang? It's just that mine is from the inside it's not infected or anything
My ears have been ringing for a long time . It's the one side effect I get from natural antidepressant 5-HTP is ringing in the ears. I had dizziness. There's some exercises you can do to get over that. I continued to go out and walk seemed like that help ed, I know it keeps me sane.
