New Meds/ Concerned about Side Effects

Anybody here on abilify? How do you do with it?

Yikes! Abilify! That med gave me a lot of energy, but TOO MUCH. It literally had me pacing the floors. I COULD NOT stay still. It was especially awful at night, when I was trying to settle in after work. Never again! But that's just MY experience.

Hey. It sucks but is the only one that my body can stand. I have gained a lot of weight and it is hard to go off of once you get used to it.

I gained a lot of weight as well when I was on it. And I was pretty pissed my doctor kept telling me I needed to lose weight but never told me the medicine can cause weight gain so I switched doctors and went off it. I still haven't lost the weight either. 🙁

Ugh! I definitely don’t need the weight gain. He prescribed me Latuda but I couldn’t afford that.

I'm not on it now but I was a few years ago along with Prozac. My depression got a little better but it caused some digestive issues and weight gain so I went off it after about 6 months. Well I already had digestive issues but it made them worse.
