I feel like I am not really present, like I feel like time is just slowly passing by and everyone seems to be moving past me in a blur and I am stuck. I feel numb and like I have no control over anything. I have zero motivation and feel like I am just working on autopilot to do the basic necessities to seem normal.

Feeling Stuck
A lot of us feel that way. I know I do. Are you talking to anyone? Have you considered meds?
Sometimes we are functioning more than we think or feel we are. We are more well than sick. Meditation can help with being in the present. You’re right some things we have no control over and if we are doing our best with the low motivation or not well that’s all we can do. Sometimes we need a push other times we need to wait it out until we are ready to act. Ask yourself what you need.
You can always write to us here, anything you want. You won’t be judged by me.
Have you always felt like this?
Yeah unfortunately this has just been part of my life since almost middle school. Most people think I am seeking attention because I get decent grades but that's only because of my anxiety and fear of failing and I somehow manage.
I am sorry about how you feel. Some people can go through that as the seasons change Have you tried professional medical help. Doctors have a way of pushing us from our comfort zones and digging at the root of the problem. Don't stay stuck, look for help.
I have tried to reach out to a couple of organisations that do counseling, I don't really have the funds to go to a therapist as I am still in university and not in a position to take up work to earn the extra cash.thank you so much for taking the time out to reply
Keep trying! Maybe reach out to a pastor or church that can provide you with free counseling. If you are at university, they should have some type of free counseling or mental health services as well.
It sounds like you have a lot going on right now. Did you reach out to any of these organizations?list.ly/list/1EXe-how-to-fi...
Also, as doozy said, don't be afraid to reach out for resources on campus. They may be able to help you and should definitely be more affordable for you. Please let us know how you are doing.
