Anxiety makes me feel nauseous

Sometimes I feel like my bloodsugar drips and I feel like crud. I used to think it was like diabetes or something. I've been tested and fine so I'm wondering if this is more of anxiety. Anyone ever feel like this?

Anxiety can cause a lot of health issues and can be scary. There have been people who have gone to the ER because they were sure they were having a heart attack. Your fears are very common!

Anxiety can do a lot to your body. I lost 22 pounds since COVID started. The stress of it all and my husband working was too much for me. I was walking around the house shaking,my legs trembling. I wasn’t hungry, but I forced myself to eat anything that I thought my stomach could tolerate. I didn’t want to get sick! I tried a few different medicine for the anxiety and ocd. They made things worse for me. Since stopping the antidepressants I have been a little better. My psychiatrist put me in a medicine called Gabatentin which is used for pain or seizures. It is also used for anxiety. It helps take the edge off. It has helped me. I started about 2 weeks ago. I have put in a few pounds and I am able to eat better now. I hope you feel better.

I'm glad you found something that is working. I was nervous to switch from paxil 30mg to Prozac 20mg. I'm glad I did i have my appetite back too.

I have similar experiences and was also concerned about diabetes. I was told I'm not diabetic. I can't confirm it's anxiety but I do struggle with that so there is potential.

My anxiety effects me the same way. Initially I also thought my blood sugar was low. I get very nauseous also.

Now I recognize it as anxiety and I work through it however I can.

I'm on meds. I use exercise and meditation to help me keep my anxiety.

I do yoga and I walk. I use an app called insight timer. There are all kinds of teachers on there. Personally I like Kenneth Soars for guided meditations.

You can also do breathing exercises or listen to relaxation sound, things like that. It takes practice to quiet the mind. Try and give it time.
