How does everyone cope with the really bad days I've had terrible insomnia which makes the anxiety and depression so much harder to manage just feel unable to function and cant relax either just want some relief it's unbearable x

Hello there! I barley sleep and when i do its awful hours. It was helping me to exercise to help get me tired. Also try setting a scedual and mabey alarms on your phone to stick to the scedual.

If you can do this you will get there..

1. Walk for about 3 to 4 hours a day, if at all you can, with your friends or with anybody. Listen to songs while doing that.

2. Play a sport for 1 to 2 hours a day that you love to play and can exhaust you.

3. Don't change your routine all of a sudden, your body will not take that, do it gradually like waking up 15 to 30 mins earlier than the previous day every day.

4. Say no to screens after 6 pm.

5. Do yoga and meditation if time allows.

6. Pranayam and meditation will soothe your mind more than anything.

Mimii I know that horrible feeling I go to bed midnight hoping I will be so tired I will fall asleep but like an alarm going off every morning 3 am I am awake I can’t go back to sleep so I get up and try and read my Claire Weekes books or mindfulness but nothing helps me I am so exhausted by it and making my anxiety and depression worse I so sympathise with you but I hope you can find a solution I am still looking take care and stay safe x

Thankyou it's torture isn't it , wish there was a solution I keep going dizzy now it's worrying. Sorry you are suffering this too x

I keep waking up at 3:30. I know so many people who wake up at 3:00 or 3:30 that it is weird. It doesn't matter what time I go to sleep. It is rare for me to go back to sleep

Dear Marshall,has your sleep improved and do you suffer anxiety?I feel so ill now with exhaustion and extreme depression I can’t do anything but cry,I see my glaucoma consultant next Monday and going to ask him if I can take any anti-depressant without effecting my eye pressure because this is a living hell,I am so anxious can’t eat and worrying about everything 24/7.I do hope we see better days (and nights) take care and stay safe

I'm currently experiencing the same. Have had probably 10 hours of sleep in the past few days. I feel terrible. Wish I could help you friend ❤️ sadly, I'm struggling as well. Not alone tho 🤍

I feel ya, ive been having panic attacks the last two days and I couldnt do anything to stop them, its so frustrating. It eventually passed over time, but it feels like forever. You are not alone ❤️

For me, MUSIC!!!! Whatever can lift your mood. Play, Had A Bad Day by Daniel Powter. Or play some crazy song by Kesha to have a laugh. Or Randy Rainbow. Or to calm down, look up meditation music on YouTube. If you don't want to be depressed and sad, stay away from Adele.😟
