Does anyone else have this problem? It’s interesting how far away we can drift from the person we want to be... already are. It’s easy whenever we have no motivation though.
It’s good to take time to do things you absolutely love!!! What are some of those?

Oh my gosh, yes. I'm always disappointed with myself when I watch TV all day or scroll on social media for hours instead of being productive during the day and relaxing/doing something I truly enjoy (not TV because that's just distraction) in the evening, for example. I fall into this pattern especially when I'm avoiding doing something that I perceive as difficult. Your question was, what things DO we enjoy? Hmm... I enjoy hikes... I'm enjoying learning tai chi... I enjoy helping other people (haven't been able to do that lately). I enjoy salsa dancing (haven't done that either).
Same! It’s easy to be ashamed of how I “waste” time. It’s also easy for me to look at what I spend my time doing the past week and let that be my identity. So it’s like I’m not allowed to say I like drawing or kayaking because I don’t actually do it, do I?
I think avoiding things we want or need to do or idk... but I’ve heard the term “executive dysfunction.” Maybe you could research it and see if it applies to you.
That’s wonderful that you like hiking and learning tai chi! Salsa dancing sounds super fun!! I hope you find a way to invest time in things you like... or finding some way to make it easier for you.
Lol I know most people would be confused that we have a hard time doing things we like. But I’m glad we can understand each other here!
