Children causing anxiety

My daughter just got her tonsils removed and I swear she screams and fights with her brother more than she used to. No matter how many times I tell her she needs to rest her throat just just screams and cries over everything. My frustration has gotten so bad. My fuse getting smaller. I just wanna go to a open field and scream myself. It's just adding to this anxiety

My kids do the same thing! It seems like it never ends, then they act like best friends only to be mean to each all over again. Hang in there.

My children are now adults, so make the most of your kids, do things with them, cooking, painting, playing. All kids fight, I did with my brothers, then I lost one, he was 17 I was 16 that makes you change your life. My dad suffered with depression which he coped with by walking miles. He loved being a grandad for all our children, but he died age 69 we all missed him. My mum died last year, she was 95, make the most of your life and your family. Life is good if you let it be so.

Hi Vanilla,

I'm sorry to hear of your situation. In my training if a child cries it's a form of communication. We work with alot of SEN children and most of them are non verbal so we try to work out the cause of their behaviours.

If your daughter is crying screaming continuously then there maybe some thing wrong. I don't want to worry you but she might be feeling vulnerable after her operation so feeling scared or anxious , then please sit down together and listen to what she is trying to say. If she is, and then you can remove the triggers .If you can't, just give her lots of reassurance and cuddles to make her feel safe. Also use alot of distractions, things she likes doing and do them with her. It will also distract you. If it's a physical pain or discomfort then take her to the doctor.
