Please help me. I know I'm loved. But my boyfriend and my family. That's the hardest part... I'm useless. I am a Deputy and got jumped at work. Now I can't live at all... I'm so pathetic. I am scared. I never even wanted this profession

.. I wanted to work with evidence. Now I'm useless because I got injured. I'm not okay. I have no friends. And I'm scared...

Hi Wuhsha ,

Don't ever consider yourself as useless. We have all been sent to this world with a purpose. You might not find out what it is now but you will soon. There will be a time of trials and hardship and you will be surrounded by darkness, but what you have to do is look for some brightness in that darkness. Remember that after darkness the sun does rise up and there will be light and happiness after. You should talk to someone you trust or seek help from a therapist as they will be able to guide you through it professionally. But if there is anything else bothering you, you always have this community that will be listening to you, remembering you, loving you and supporting you. Don't feel bad about yourself because you are not and you can make friends here to help you out and be by your side. I wish you all the best. My thoughts and prayers will be with you <3

Of course you’re scared. It’s a scary thing to have happen to you. Is there counseling on the job to help you through this?

And like lonelyartis said, you’re not useless. No one is useless. You’ve just gone through an experience which can help others who unfortunately will go through the same thing. Once you work out your own trauma.

We’re here for you. Please feel free to share with us as you go along with your struggles. Keep posting and let us know how you’re feeling.
