Hi guys! Lately i’ve been asking myself how to know if I really love myself, sometimes I feel super confident and I’m happy with my body and with who I am, but at some point I feel like trash and I do things that when I start to think about them I realize maybe they’re a proof of that I don’t really love myself.
I don’t know if it’s normal to feel this way and i don’t know how usual is to have these ups and downs.
I often go through similar mood swings of feeling super confident then super trashy so it’s very normal, fighting the bad thoughts in your mind is the absolute hardest thing to do , i still haven’t overcome my inner demons nor do i have to answer because positive affirmations and showing self love is often easier said than done but nevertheless i found that doing things that make you happy can lead to better thoughts
When i clean my room , wash my car , and complete my daily tasks i feel organized then somehow a little more at ease then those actions lead to little things like spending some quality time with myself whether it be going to eat alone or attending a self movie date
We all have different coping mechanisms but fight those inner demons back and say yes i am worthy and yes i am awesome , a little cheesy but after all i am a slice of pizza
I've felt that way and sometimes worse. It just came to me that by doing for others that is love and in giving we also receive. Simon Peter was asked three times do you love me? Feed my sheep. Take care of my lambs. Agape love is all emcompassing. I am a human being with flaws insecurities and fears though and until i face my inner critic and innermost part of myself and grow doubt will be present and theres no guarantee of anything in life really. All we can do is our best we can do my friend. Please use positive self talk and be honest yet compassionate and patient.
