Lonely Girl

I'm J, a new member here to the page. A thirty-something who has been living with depression for more than half my life. My depression has made maintaining friendships difficult and has left me feeling a bit lonely. I do have a lot of hobbies though: reading, writing, genealogy, history, video games, crocheting, and learning new things.

I also! I have lived my whole life with depression, perhaps because I had a sad childhood. But now I am trying to take my life in a good way. I sought psychiatric help and that helped me a lot.

One of my favorite hobbies is listening to music (new wave) and learning languages. My native language is Spanish and now I am trying to learn English.

There are plenty others who share the same hobbies as you dont be afraid to try new things either. Stay positive and let those depressing thoughts drift away.
