I need help.
Welcome Akumma, you will find many friends who will "help follow you along".
To keep tension down while reading, making a speech or answering a call is all
about "breathing". Pacing yourself, not holding your breath and using the time
between speaking to pause and breathe. If talking with someone else, give them
time to speak and don't feel you need to fill in the silent gaps.
Practicing diaphragmatic breathing each day will allow you to get through
any anxiety provoked issue, even personal tensions. xx
Doing a breathing meditation helps.
Hi
Relaxation and breathing exercises do help but they have to be done everyday. This is to slow down the body’s response to feeling anxious.
What happens is that the mind will react to your anxiety with what you put into it. If you are constantly anxious then anxiety will respond with anxiety. If you start to relax at various times in the day then your body will respond with more relaxation responses than fearful ones.
Don’t see this as a chore and something that you have to do, do it joyfully. Some days you won’t feel like doing it but the next day you may do it two or three times. Do it when the mood grabs you and you may find you are doing it more.
But you have to do it regularly, find a download on your phone or dig out some old cd’s that you enjoy listening to and spend time looking after yourself.
I hope this helps ❤️
